"Liar" is a project centered around the theme of self-deception, drawing inspiration from Ripley's syndrome – a psychological phenomenon where an individual creates a delusional self-image and reality based on internal fantasies and falsehoods. A paper shredder, typically used to obliterate private, confidential, or sensitive information, serves as a symbol in "Liar." This project revolves around the act of shredding sheets of paper that bear the deceiving words and images we construct.
The act of shredding takes on a dual role in "Liar" – it becomes both a form of confession and a means of revealing inner struggles. Through the dismantling of these falsehoods, the gesture of shredding becomes a way to expose and confront the deceit within. The essence of "Liar" finds expression through a series of mediums, including promotional posters, exhibition design, and immersive installations.
